BC School held a Chinese Culture Exchange Day at Dongyuan Apartment, Liangmaqiao Branch – First round *Paper-cut, Beijing Peking Opera.

Many Japanese woman take along their children to actively participate in this event.

The teacher first showed the paper cut model for the window decoration, to make their happiness doubled, it was a modern cartoon characters of China. The children were full of interest and followed the teacher to create their own paper-cut works.

Then, they watched the representative of the traditional culture – The Beijing Opera video, where parents and children were deeply attracted, and everyone was immersed in the design of Beijing Opera masks. After the children done making their creation, they were very excited to put on their unique Beijing Opera mask, and took a photo with their mother.

In the end, the children received a lovely doll with their personal creative cultural works. BC College also gave them Beijing old snack – Daoxiang village exquisite dumplings, as the Dragon Boat Festival gift.

The successful completion of the Chinese Cultural Exchanges held by BC School will allow and let the participating ladies and children to deepen their understanding of the Chinese traditional culture and to provide closer opportunities for the parent-children relationship, with an entertaining way to learn Chinese vocabulary. They actively asked for the next round theme and said they were really looking forward to it.
