On Friday, May 31, 2024, BC Mandarin School organized a cultural study tour of the Forbidden City with more than 20 participants.

While enjoying the beauty of the Forbidden City, the teachers explained various interesting stories to the students. For example, the names of eaves gods: dragon, phoenix, lion and so on.

In addition, it also explains the bronze turtle, bronze crane, and other important ancient tools such as sundial, grain measure, metal cup and so on.

If you go to the Forbidden City by yourself, you may ignore the details of the design. After the teacher explains in detail, you will be more likely to experience the interest of Chinese architecture.

After enjoying the wonderful tour of the Forbidden City, we also went to the very famous Siji Minfu Roast Duck Restaurant.

If you go to this restaurant by yourself, it will take 2-3 hours to wait for the table, but with BC's food tour, you don’t need to wait,just come and enjoy the food.

During lunch, the teacher enthusiastically explained how to wrap roast duck properly. In a pleasant atmosphere, we knew new friends, chatted and toasted the party as a perfect end to May.
