On October 16th, 2021, the Director of Teaching Wei Bai, the Director of program Meng Yuan were invited to participate International Collaborative Training and Co-Tutor Collaborative Exchange Conference for MTCSOL of Other Languages at SISU.
The members who attended this conference including, Gongxue Yan, the Vice President of SISU, Yongfeng Zhao,the Dean of the graduate school, Wende Zhou,the Dean of College of Chinese Language and Culture. Moreover, nearly a hundred graduate students and experts and guests from more than 20 countries were participated in the conference.
Reflecting back to the remarkable summer of 2020, many teachers and students
can still remember the successful“Summer Camp of MTCSOL”. We received many positive feedback from professors and students. The exploration in the model of collaborative relationship and tutorial system between school and enterprise has achieved a significant success and profound influence.
In the first stage of the conference, Dean YongFeng Zhao announced the decision of recruiting external tutors and offered recruitment letter to more than 20 external tutors. Afterwards, Ms. Wei Bai, as a representative of external tutors from BC Mandarin School, declaimed the issues of the "specialization" and "generalization" of the Chinese educational from the practical guidance of the master program in Chinese international education. She also pointed that the professional knowledge and skills should be trained and cultivated under the trend of the on-line schooling in order to satisfy the demand of the versatile/hybrid talent.
The second stage is information sharing conference about tutorial system in international joint training. BC Mandarin School is honored to continue to deep and wide collaboration with SISU as the practical training base.
