Today, we congratulate Mr. Watanabe from Japan for receiving a 100 RMB scholarship! He came to Peking University in the beginning of September and began to attend one-on-one class at BC Institute. When he first came to Beijing, his Chinese skill was at the primary level. After three months of hard work, his level of listening, speaking, reading and writing increased dramatically. On December 2nd, he passed HSK 5 with a score of 240 points.

It is no exaggeration to say that Mr. Watanabe “forgets to eat and sleep” to study because he often comes to BC’s study room when he didn’t have any class. There is not only a comfortable learning environment, but also tea, coffee, and Wi-Fi. More importantly, even if it is not his class teacher, as long as other eacher has time, they will help to correct the homework and explain the grammar points in detail. Sometimes, Mr. Watanabe will also chat with the teachers during break time, or just listen to the dialogue between the teachers, which is also a good way to learn authentic Chinese.
